Local food events and activities

Taste of Timsbury is keen to create and/or support a legacy of food events. Below are details of events run in the village which are all about good food!

Cook and Eat cookery classes for the over 55's (advanced)

Run by Bath College, this is a FREE 7 week cooking course led by an experienced and qualified tutor who will advise on all things nutritious and delicious with the added benefit of cooking and eating together at the end of the session.

The course begins on Tuesday 27th February 2018 between 10am and 1pm at Timsbury Conygre Hall.

Cook and Eat cookery classes particularly for parents and carers

Run by Bath College, this is a FREE 7 week cooking course led by an experienced and qualified tutor who will advise on all things nutritious and delicious with the added benefit of cooking and eating together at the end of the session. This course will have particular focus on preparing food for a family or those you care for.

The course begins on Wednesday 28th February 2018 between 9.30am and 12.30 pm at Timsbury YMCA.

The Basics of Gardening Course

Brought to you by Timsbury Horticultural Society, this 6 week course starts on 17th January 2018 at the Conygre Hall (7.30pm to 9pm). Covering all you need to know about the gardening basics from soil type to propogation to design, it will also include a session on growing your own vegetables and fruit. The cost for the course is £50.
